    Dr. Jones is a board-certified pediatric rheumatologist at Children’s Mercy Kansas City. He is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Missouri-Kansas City and Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Kansas. He completed medical school at Des Moines University, pediatric residency at University of Kansas – Wichita, pediatric rheumatology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Research at University of Cincinnati. Dr. Jones is the medical director of the Joint Hypermobility and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Center of Excellence and is an internationally recognized expert in hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome and Down syndrome-associated arthritis. Outside of clinical care, his research focus includes awareness, education and management of hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome, awareness, novel screening for early diagnosis and treatment of Down syndrome-associated arthritis, and pharmacologic therapy for rheumatic disease.
