Overview Research Dr. Randell aims to improve health across the lifespan and interrupt generational cycles of violence through primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention of adolescent relationship abuse (ARA) and intimate partner violence (IPV). Her research focuses on healing-centered engagement approaches to promote healthy adolescent relationships and support ARA and IPV survivors in pediatric health settings. Current projects include 1) evaluation of a brief intervention to promote healthy adolescent relationships and provide point-of-care ARA harm reduction resources in the emergency department setting and 2) evaluation of a dyadic middle school adolescent and parent ARA prevention intervention in pediatric primary care.
