Overview Research Voytek Slowik, MD, graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in cellular biology cum laude from the University of Kansas. He then went on to graduate from medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He first joined the team at Children’s Mercy – Kansas City as a general pediatric resident in 2011 and stayed until completion of his pediatric gastroenterology fellowship in 2017.
