research overview Dr. Meoded’s clinical and research activity focuses on the improvement of the diagnostic criteria of some pediatric CNS diseases, in the advancement of the understanding of the pathogenesis of diseases affecting the pediatric brain, and in providing potential neuroimaging biomarkers to identify children who may benefit from targeted therapeutic approaches and to monitor treatment response. In addition, Dr. Meoded applies quantitative methods to study brain networks in children to better understand the central nervous system neuroplasticity and how the brain tries to compensate for acquired injury and congenital abnormalities.
