Her areas of research interest include antimicrobial resistance, microbial pathogenesis and epidemiology of infectious diseases. In her current role as a Clinical Research Scientist at Children's Mercy, she is engaged in multiple and diverse research projects ranging from anti-microbial susceptibility, molecular epidemiology of pediatric viral pathogens, clinical trials for diagnostic assays and currently looking forward to taking the step into COVID-19 research.
