His research team specializes in large volume prospective enrollment of children in clinical trials for infectious diseases in outpatient and inpatient settings. As the founding Principal Investigator of Kansas City-New Vaccine Surveillance Network (KC-NVSN) program since 2009, sponsored by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, he has direct working knowledge on establishment and collaboration of multisite national networks.
