Children’s Mercy embraces a broad definition of ‘research’ to include scholarship related to the creation of new knowledge across multiple domains, including basic science, clinical and translational research, clinical trials, outcomes research, dissemination and implementation science, population health, medical education, quality improvement/performance improvement/patient safety, advocacy, and community health.
