Overview Research My research interest focus on pediatric cancer outcomes among Hispanic children. The goal of our team is to better understand the biologic and socio-cultural factors that affect cancer outcomes among Hispanic children. We have 3 international current studies that include over 8 hospitals in Mexico. Our primary focus is acute lymphoblastic leukemia and childhood sarcomas. My primary research team includes Dr. Lilia Garcia Rodriguez, MD who oversees all studies in Mexico and Dr. Elizabeth Gonzalez Dominguez, MD/PhD Candidate who is performing bench research at CMH for our sarcoma study. I am committed to global health and educating physicians and PhDs from Mexico and Latin America.
