Dr. Artman brings his expertise building and leading research teams at each of his previous institutions to his role with the Children’s Research Institute, where he serves on the internal scientific leadership team, guiding operations and strategy. He is also heavily involved in recruiting scientific investigators who share the same vision as the Children’s Research Institute leadership—to change the future of pediatric medicine by finding ways to diagnose faster, treat more precisely, cure and ultimately prevent childhood diseases.
Dr. Artman is an internationally recognized pediatric cardiologist. Research has been a central component throughout his academic career, beginning in medical school. Most of his own research has been at the basic molecular and cellular level.
