    Dr. Attard is broadly interested and active in defining management of children with hereditary polyposis syndromes and hereditary predisposition to intestinal cancer, chemoprevention of polyp progression and microbiome modulation of polyp growth. He is interested in health services research and its clinical applicability in diverse pediatric gastrointestinal scenarios ranging from procedure complications and outcomes to gastrointestinal disorder profiling in autism. Dr. Attard is actively involved in faculty development using HSR tools to enhance division-wide academic productivity.
